Great Music and You – An Inspired Ensemble

Horszowski Trio

“The most compelling American group to come on the scene” – The New Yorker

Based in New York City, the Horszowski Trio is Ensemble-in-Residence at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and of the Leschetizky Association in New York City.

Since their formation in 2011, the group has quickly become a vital force in the international chamber music world, giving performances that are “lithe, persuasive” (The New York Times), and “eloquent and enthralling” (The Boston Globe). In addition to their performance cycles of the complete trios of Beethoven, Schumann, and Brahms, the Horzowski Trio is a passionate advocate for the music of our time. They have appeared at major venues in the U.S. and throughout Europe and Asia and have been acclaimed by major critics: “This ensemble can play anything.”

Grupo Bella

“A unique Mexican Folk experience”

Formed in 2011, LA-based Grupo Bella is fronted by GRAMMY-award winning vocalist and GRAMMY-nominated composer Vanessa Ramirez. With an ever-evolving sound, the quintet brings their own interpretations of Mexican Folk with a depth supported by adept musicianship and sheer passion.

Their instrumentation is familiarly Mariachi, which is thrown for a loop with an enticing fusion of Mexican Pop, Boleros, Huasteco, and even an American Classic influence. But don’t take these few styles as a limitation, they’re only the cusp of what Grupo Bella has to offer. The creation of the band’s flavor seems almost serendipitous, paying homage to music of the past while pushing the boundaries and carrying on the legacy of a sound with a vibrant history.

House of Hamill

“Upcycled Celtic Folk”

Since 2014, Pennsylvania-based folk band House of Hamill has shared their music and stories on the country’s premier folk stages. Their original song “Banks of the Brandywine” was a Grand Prize winner in the 2024 John Lennon Songwriter Contest. The band’s newest release, “Wildfire,” marks House of Hamill’s most compelling work to date. Featuring their strongest and most exciting songwriting, “Wildfire” is filled with lyrical depth, sophisticated vocal and instrumental arrangements, and hooks that are simply irresistible.

Whether they’re ripping through a set of original jigs and reels, adding lush three-part harmonies into traditional folk ballads, or cracking up an audience with stories from the road, House of Hamill puts on a show that captivates audiences from the very first note.

Shelby Means

“…a breath of fresh Bluegrass air” – Holler Magazine

Born in the bluegrass of Kentucky and raised on Wyoming’s high plains, Shelby Means is one of the foremost bassists in bluegrass, with nearly two decades of experience in bluegrass, folk, rock, Americana, and country outfits. Now based in Charleston, South Carolina, during her tenure in Nashville she was a member of the GRAMMY-nominated, incredibly impactful distaff bluegrass band, Della Mae.
